Boudoir Set 7

 Google Analytics says my content is thin, because I don't put enough verbiage in the posts. Personally I like to let the pictures I have taken do the talking. I'm not sure what I would say about these pics that you won't see for yourself when you look at them. These were part of a series of boudoir shoots we did in a single day. This is the 7th set of pictures from those shoots that I have posted on here, hence the name of the post. We played with the color quite a bit on these, and there's one in particular that I am proud of. It's the black and white where the only color is the flower petal on her hat and her eyes. These are a little racy, so if you're under 18 don't look. But I don't consider these dirty pictures. They are art where there happens to be exposed breasts. I sometimes think our culture leans a bit too much into our Puritan roots. I think a naked breast is much less harmful than much of the garbage we take in every day that is considered perfectly normal. Anyway, enough pontificating from me, here are the pics. I hope you enjoy them.

Dark Sirens set 1

This is from a shoot that was named Dark Sirens. It was done at a river, and was supposed to be sort of an evil mermaid theme but expanded out beyond those original perimeters. I leaned into the "dark" of the name in my editing. I tend to have an aesthetic preference for darker, moodier, less well defined than many people. But the great thing about art is that you can make what you like, and people can enjoy it or not. I don't feel there is any one "right" way to either make or enjoy art. There is just art and audience, and the art may connect with some or all of the audience, or it may miss it's mark completely. Sometimes this will happen for reasons that have nothing to do with the art itself. It may be the mood of the audience at the time, it may be the context in which the art is presented, it may even be due to some feeling for or against the artist responsible quite aside from the art itself. Hopefully my audience will get the mood I was going for here
